Industry event · November 10–11, 2026, 09:00–17:00 Montreal time

The Montréal International Game Summit is scheduled for November 10–11, 2026, at the Grand Quay of the Port of Montreal, from 09:00 to 17:00. Presented by La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec with XP Gaming, it puts Montreal’s games ecosystem on the calendar next week.

What the programme covers

The organizer lists four content stages covering development, business, publishing, AI and mobile, alongside an Indie Zone, live indie pitches and a business showfloor. The programme also includes a Pocket Gamer Connects stage and external-development activities.

Where it fits on ZYX

MIGS is an industry conference, not an esports tournament. It matters to a Montreal-first gaming hub as a place to discover studios, creators and projects behind future releases, while separate competition listings cover the players and teams.

Use the organizer’s programme and registration pages for the current agenda and admission details. ZYX will give Quebec and Montreal special attention within broader Canadian coverage, without restricting regional stories to a fixed game list.

Creator event · November 13–15, 2026 · Listed registration deadline November 6

SHIFT Game Jam’s November edition is scheduled for November 13–15, 2026, at Nabdh MBZ – Al Manhal in Abu Dhabi. The organizer lists Abu Dhabi Gaming and Unity as hosts and partners for a three-day challenge to build a playable game.

The important deadline distinction

The official page lists November 6 as the registration deadline. As of this November 7 brief, that date has passed, even if a registration button remains visible. Contact the organizer directly about any late availability rather than assuming entries remain open.

What is on the programme

Teams can have up to five members, with a theme revealed at kickoff. The published prize pool is AED 60,000, awarded as vouchers across the top three games. Mentoring, playtesting, presentations and judging form part of the schedule.

This is a game-development event, not an esports bracket. It earns a place in ZYX’s UAE coverage because creators and emerging games belong alongside competitive play in the wider regional scene.

Schedule correction · Organizer announcement dated August 18, 2026

The inaugural Esports Nations Cup in Riyadh is scheduled for November 2027 following a postponement announced by the Esports Foundation on August 18, 2026. It should no longer appear as an upcoming November 2026 event in ZYX’s calendar.

What the organizer confirmed

The Foundation said the change followed an assessment of the wider regional situation and consultation with stakeholders. It also said existing ENC Development Fund commitments to National Team Partners would remain in place.

The announcement describes a country-based competition rather than a club tournament. Revised qualification pathways and calendar details are to come through the organizer and its partners; an old 2026 fixture list is not a reliable guide to the new programme.

For Saudi and regional fans

Keep the event on a 2027 watchlist and follow the official press room for confirmed updates. This is a calendar correction based on the dated announcement, not a claim that matches are taking place this month.
